1. Fields of application
These General Conditions of Sale, hereinafter referred to as GCS, are concluded between the parties:
“Quest Education Group”, located at 50 rue de Marseille, 69007 Lyon.
And between any natural or legal person, individual or professional, under private or public law wishing to engage in one or more services provided by « Quest Education Group », hereinafter referred to as the candidate.
« Registration file » refers to the private law contract signed between « Quest Education Group » and the customer who finances his training himself.
2. Object
Any training order implies the customer’s unreserved acceptance and full and complete adherence to these general conditions of sale.
3. Contract documents
The candidate submits a pre-application file online on the gamingcampus.com website. If he is selected by the admissions department of « Quest Education Group », he will have to pay a €70 application fee.
After passing the selection interviews, “Quest Education Group” sends the client a registration file. The customer undertakes to return a signed copy to « Quest Education Group » as soon as possible, accompanied by all the supporting documents and corresponding regulations.
4. Prerequisites
For the registration of the candidate to be validated, he must imperatively:
- Have the required diploma for the program concerned;
- Complete the registration file;
- Sign the registration form;
- Pay the deposit;
5. Quest Education Group Commitment
« Quest Education Group » undertakes to retain, for the next academic year, a place in the program chosen by the candidate, provided that a minimum of ten (10) students have registered for the said program on a date determined by » Quest Education Group”.
In the event that the minimum number of students indicated above is not reached on the date indicated, « Quest Education Group » reserves the right to cancel the training program chosen and to terminate the registration, this termination being notified by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt.
Termination of registration entails the reimbursement of any amount paid by the candidate for registration within fourteen (14) days following the notification (date of first presentation) of the termination to the candidate.
6. Tuition fees
The amount of tuition fees is specified in the financial conditions communicated to the candidate and recalled in the registration file.
The deposit paid by the student is deducted from the amount of tuition fees remaining due.
Tuition fees are due in full and will be payable upon validation of registration. They are payable in two possible ways: cash payment and installment payment, according to the schedule indicated in the financial conditions.
In the event of payment by direct debit, the payer must sign the SEPA direct debit mandate present in the registration file.
Any unpaid due date entails:
- The loss of any payment facility and the immediate payment of all sums remaining due;
- The automatic application of penalties corresponding to three (3) times the legal interest rate, as well as a fixed indemnity of forty (40) Euros for internal recovery costs. If the recovery costs actually incurred are greater than this lump sum, additional compensation may be requested upon proof.
In addition, in the event of non-payment of a due date, « Quest Education Group » reserves the right to terminate the registration, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
7. Terms of withdrawal
The candidate has a right of withdrawal in accordance with the provisions of articles L.221-18 and following of the Consumer Code, which he can exercise without having to justify his decision within a period of fourteen (14) days from the signing of this registration file.
To do this, the candidate must send his decision to withdraw by any means before the expiry of the aforementioned period, in particular:
- Either by e-mail at contact@gamingcampus.fr;
- Either by mail to the address: Gaming Campus – 50 rue de Marseille – 69007 Lyon;
In the event of withdrawal according to the terms referred to above, the candidate will be reimbursed the full amount paid for tuition fees.
The refund will be made within fourteen (14) days from the date on which « Quest Education Group » is informed of the candidate’s decision to withdraw.
In the event of non-compliance with the reimbursement deadline mentioned above, the sums due will be increased, in accordance with article L.242-4 of the Consumer Code.
8. Disclaimer
Beyond the withdrawal period of fourteen (14) days mentioned above, the registration is considered final. However, the candidate may proceed with the cancellation of his registration, by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt to the address indicated above. Depending on the reasons for the cancellation and the period within which it is notified to « Quest Education Group », the registration deposit will be refunded according to the terms below.
8.1 Case of reimbursement of the registration deposit for serious and legitimate reasons
Failure to obtain the diploma conditioning entry into the program, provided that notification of the cancellation is sent to “Quest Education Group” within eight (8) days after the publication of the results, accompanied by a copy of the results;
Refusal of visa, provided that the notification of the cancellation is sent to « Quest Education Group » within eight (8) days after the announcement of the refusal, accompanied by a copy of this refusal.
Other serious and legitimate reasons notified to “Quest Education Group” as soon as possible. The serious and legitimate nature of the reason invoked by the candidate is left to the discretion of “Quest Education Group”, with regard to the supporting documents sent by the candidate at the same time as their notification of cancellation.
8.2 Other cases of reimbursement of the registration deposit
If the candidate is unable to justify serious and legitimate reasons or if he does not meet the conditions referred to above, depending on the case, the registration fees can only be partially reimbursed.
9. Postponement request
The candidate can request the postponement of his registration according to the following methods:
- Report to the same school year;
- Report to another school year;
Validation of said report is at the discretion of “Quest Education Group”.
The deposit already paid during his pre-registration/initial registration will be deducted from the tuition fees that will be applicable to him during the postponement year.
10. Vocational training contracts
A candidate looking for a funded contract is considered as a candidate in the classic cycle, until the signature of the funded contract. The registration file must therefore be completed and signed to validate the registration.
In the event of signature of a financed contract, the sums already paid by the payer as tuition fees for the academic year which will be carried out under the financed contract will be reimbursed to him at the end of the trial period provided for in the funded contract and if the training agreement signed by the company has been forwarded to « Quest Education Group ».
11. Abandonment, exclusion and interruption of schooling
Any unexcused absence (for a serious and legitimate reason left to the discretion of « Quest Education Group » upon presentation of proof as soon as possible by the candidate) for more than six consecutive weeks may be considered by « Quest Education Group » as permanent termination of registration. The sums already paid will not give rise to any refund and, in the case of a payment in installments, the sums remaining due must then be paid immediately.
In case of abandonment during the year:
- (i) Amounts already paid will not be refunded,
- (ii) In the case of a payment in installments, the amounts remaining due must then be paid immediately unless there is a serious and legitimate reason upon presentation of supporting documents (at the discretion of “Quest Education Group”).
In the event of definitive exclusion for sanction of the candidate in accordance with the rules of procedure of « Quest Education Group », the sums already paid will not give rise to any refund and, in the case of a staggered payment, the sums remaining due must then be paid immediately. .
12. Intellectual Property
The candidate acknowledges having been informed of the fact that « Quest Education Group » could have its students create, as part of their school curriculum, creations (works) on various material or immaterial media.
The candidate agrees to grant « Quest Education Group », as and when they are created, the right to use their works produced as part of their school course within « Quest Education Group », namely, the right of reproduction , the right of representation and the right of adaptation, as defined below.
12.1 Right of reproduction
This right includes the right to reproduce directly or indirectly (all or part of the works, by any technical process known or unknown to date (in particular by printing, photocopying, computer storage, downloading, digitization, optonumeric, etc.), on all media known or unknown to date (in particular paper, magnetic, optical, electronic, computer, digital, etc.) and in all formats and all definitions.
12.2 Right of representation
This right includes the right to represent to the public, to exhibit, to make accessible, to distribute, to communicate and to make available to the public all or part of the works in any way whatsoever, directly or indirectly, by any known process. or unknown to date, by all means of communication, in particular by digital and information networks (Internet network, brochures, posters, social networks, or others), Web TV, electronic networks, optics and mobile telephone networks, on all media and in all formats and all definitions.
12.3 Right of adaptation
The rights assigned include, in particular,
(i) The right to adapt or have adapted, directly or indirectly, all or part of the works, in all formats and all definitions, and in particular the right to digitize, crop and resize them;
(ii) The right to use one or more of the elements making up the works, in isolation or in association with other works;
(iii) The right to translate or have translated into any language all or part of the works;
(iv) The right to reproduce, have reproduced, represent or have represented all or part of the adaptations provided for in this paragraph c).
The rights mentioned above are granted:
For the purposes of free use, solely within the framework of the communication, presentation and promotion of “Quest Education Group” and its programs, in particular during “Quest Education Group” events, open days, fairs, forums, exhibitions;
For everyone for the entire duration of the school course within « Quest Education Group », as well as for an additional period of five (5) years from the day on which the student has definitively ceased all schooling within « Quest Education Group ». GROUP”;
For the benefit of “Quest Education Group”, its beneficiaries, completely free of charge, and consequently without any financial consideration or compensation of any kind whatsoever.
13. eLearning platform
In the event of access to a “Quest Education Group” elearning platform (for the open days or to follow courses or conferences), the candidate must first accept the general conditions of use posted online.
14. Protection of personal data
In accordance with the laws and regulations applicable to the protection of personal data, and more particularly the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, in its version currently in force, and European Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and to the free movement of such data (GDPR), the candidate has a right of access, rectification, erasure, opposition, limitation of the processing, the right to portability and the deletion of his personal data. These rights can be exercised by simple letter sent by email to contact@gamingcampus.fr
In accordance with the law, the request will be processed within a maximum period of one (1) month following its receipt (extendable period of two (2) months in the event of a complex request). It is recalled that abusive requests are punishable by law. The candidate also has a means of direct opposition to canvassing by registering on the BLOCTEL opposition list. If the candidate considers that our processing of his personal data is contrary to the legislation in force or to his rights, he has the right to file a complaint with the CNIL. The person responsible for processing personal data is « Quest Education Group », a simplified joint-stock company with a single shareholder with share capital of 116,185 euros, whose head office is located at 50 rue de Marseille, 69007 Lyon, registered in the Trade and Companies Register. de Lyon under the number SIREN 837 670 231 00021. The personal data collected and processed by « Quest Education Group » as part of the management of the candidate’s registration are the personal data that he has voluntarily transmitted as part of his registration .
The personal data that the candidate has communicated will be used (by « Quest Education Group » and its technical service providers) for the following purposes:
Administrative and commercial management of registrations and schooling within « Quest Education Group » (on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, the processing of personal data being necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party);
To meet legal or regulatory obligations, or to follow up on the requirements imposed by tax administration controls, at the request of a court or if the communication of this data is necessary for the pursuit of an investigation or proceedings against « Quest Education Group » (based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR);
Sending by “Quest Education Group” of newsletters and commercial offers (on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).

15. Notifications
In all cases where these General Conditions of Registration provide for the sending of registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, it is specified that this registered mail must be registered mail in paper version and not electronic registered mail.
16. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction
The law applicable hereto is French law. Any dispute arising on the occasion of the interpretation, execution or termination of this commitment will be submitted to the competent courts according to the rules of common law.
